After graduating from college or trade school, our students are eligible for resettlement…
They attend a financial seminar where they learn how to manage finances and make wise investments.

After completion, they attend a ceremony and are given a sum of money to help them purchase a house, start a business, or further their education.

Meet Davidline.
This video is a casual interview of Davidline Tokpah as she gives us a tour of her house and property. See where Davidline is and how she’s used her resettlement money to thrive in her local community.
Davidline is a mother to many and a spectacular exemplar of strength, passion, and determination. She recently graduated with a degree in management and has taken full advantage of her resettlement. She currently lives in the community, is building a house, has a shop, cares for her little girl, Ma-E, and serves as the dean for the girls at our home.
Robert Zoyou, older brother of Joe, is a recent graduate of BWI, where he studied electronics. He is laid back, calm, and driven. He is working on setting up his own electronic repair shop.
Beatrice recently graduated from a catering trade school and was subsequently resettled. She currently lives in the community where she cares for her little boy and visits the home often.
Massa is a recent graduate of the nurse-aid program at Florence Nightingale Institute. She is a no nonsense kind of girl who is driven and sharp. She’s highly intelligent and is a loyal companion who loves to serve. She has been resettled, and has used her resettlement money to pursue further education.
Angeline is a nurse-aid graduate who is strong, yet gentle. She holds a rather serious disposition, but her face can switch to a full and bright smile in a moment, as she loves to relate and cut jokes. She has been resettled in the community and makes some extra side money by selling clothes.
Barmo is strong as an ox with an incredibly gentle heart. A lockdown defender in soccer, he is skilled and loves listening to music. He recently graduated from PSTC with a certificate in heavy-duty driving and has been resettled.
Jackson is a hard worker who is also commonly featured in Theo and Bugie's comedies where he plays a character who only speaks Chinese (which is why most people in the community know him as "Chinese man"). He's hilarious. Jackson recently graduated from PSTC with a degree in heavy-duty driving and is so busy with work that it's hard to catch him in town!
Timothy attended the African Bible College and is now the head pastor of our church plant. He is passionate about the truth of the Bible and devotes much of his free time to writing sermons, preparing lessons, or sharing his faith with others. He is bold and not afraid to speak out.
Daniel graduated from the nurse-aid program at Florence Nightingale. We believe he has truly found his passion as he loves sharing about what he is learning (and also enjoys displaying his hands-on skills). He has been resettled and lives in the city where he works at a local clinic.
A recent graduate from the nurese-aid program at Florence Nightingale, Josephine is a tender girl who is always beaming. She has the strength and composure of a woman but the light-hearted spirit of a little girl. She is fun and affectionate. Currently, she is serving as the nurse of the Mother Blessings home.
Moses has two modes of existence, serious and absolutely hilarious. Stick around long enough and you'll see plenty of both. He graduated from BWI with a certificate in electricity and is currently developing a piece of land to build a house and shop.
Philimena recently earned her certificate in baking from a nearby trade school. After being resettled, she opened a shop in the community and is doing spectacularly. She loves selling and is implementing many of the business principles she learned in her resettlement class. She is married to Robertson.
Robertson is a very driven and determined boy who just recently graduated from BWI and has been resettled. He works as a freelance plumber and gets loads of work. He is always freshly dressed and is a phenomenal soccer player. He is married to Philimena.
Look up “charisma” and “likable” in the dictionary and you’ll find a picture of Boakai. He is a natural leader who is outgoing, passionate, and driven. After serving as president of his university, he graduated and is currently working on his own, developing a farm.
Fayah (we’ve been misspelling it “fire” for years and have just decided to stick with it) graduated from BWI with a certificate in operating heavy machinery has been resettled and is currently working for a construction company. He is a self-named “teddy bear” who is radiant with joy and energy. Whenever he comes home, the children all run to meet him.
Peter Briggs is a recent graduate from BWI where he studied plumbing. He is a quiet and reserved. Now he has been resettled and is living in the local community in his own place.
Ebenezer (Numah) attended college in Buchannan and was one of our first students to resettle. He now teaches at the grade school and has a business selling cement. He is outgoing and personable. If you meet him, you'll probably have a secret handshake before too long.
Elijah, also known as the president of the Mother Blessings home, recently graduated from college and is resettled in Buchanan where he leads Young Life. He is a brilliant leader and is passionate about teaching the Bible.
Amos is incredibly smart and thorough. He recently entered an exclusive program and was awarded citizenship to the USA. He was resettled there and currently lives in Michigan with his wife where he works and is in school.
Jeremiah is an exceptional student and future leader. He was president of his high school and has graduated from AUWA (where he was also a prominent leader) with a bachelors in nursing. He is currently working on setting up his own pharmacy/clinic.
Youngor graduated in engineering from Stella Maris University and works for We Care Solar (a solar and renewable energy company). She is smart, sarcastic, and enjoys playing jokes on people. She is very caring and loves to give gifts. She has a little boy named Hartleib.
