Some of our favorite moments of the sponsorship are when college students return home to visit. We see a difference in their eyes, a more confident stride, and a look that says, “I can really do this.” The college students see the younger children at the home as little brothers and sisters that they help raise. They have organized themselves into a group that supports each other, cares for each other, and holds each other accountable. They have also engaged in community service projects involving both protection during the pandemic and care for a local blind community.
