Peter and Comfort
Three of the children from Mother Blessings have entered into the covenant of marriage. Most recently, we witnessed Peter, a child from the home, marry Comfort, a girl from the community. Their child, Sophina, now has a stable home with loving parents. Check out their video (to the right) and pictures (below)!
Where change takes root.
We believe that strong families shatter the cycle of poverty. This is grounded both in research data and Scripture. But in Liberia, the cost of a wedding is a huge cultural barrier to marriage. For that reason, we encourage our children to find spouses and our sponsorship helps to pay for their weddings.
